Awkwafina
Awkwafina has been described as an American performer and actor who made her name with clever raps that tackled sexuality and racial identities with an edgy, comical perspective. Then she branched out to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. After classical and Jazz training, she delved into hip-hop when she was an teen. Concentrating on school she studied journalism as well as women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a time. She didn't start focusing on music until after she finished her studies. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success on the Internet before settling on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. The album also featured viral hits like the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$. The final track was closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was which was published in 2015. With musician and author as her credentials, she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. This June, she released her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
